1) Do I have to pay for the camping permit?

No you do not. It is absolutely free. 

2) What if I forgot to apply my camping permit?

You can do it on the spot with your smartphone or where ever that has internet connection

3) Where are the AXS machines located in East Coast Park?

There are located at carpark C3, East Coast park. The exact location can be found here.

4) Do I have to always display my camping permit?

You do not need to display your permit always but if there is an officer checking, make sure your camping permit is with you :)
